Buddy Update 8/1 (From Nancy)
 
Hi Everyone,
 
Buddy was discharged from the hospital on Saturday.  He is home (where he belongs) resting comfortably (I think).  We are scheduled for follow up and staple removal on 8/9.  He is still on pain meds but he is eating.  He is definitely improving day by day. 
 
Thanks for “being there” for us.

P.S.  The pain incident I described in Friday’s e-mail was due to the chest tube.  They removed it Friday around noon.  His abdominal swelling and bruising are going down.
